This brings up an interesting question.
Does it make sense for a "mechanical/CAD" version of Blender to be a
fork, like dtpBlender, or are mechanical/CAD features like snap options
compelling enough to merge/un-fork them from dtpBlender?
I have to admit that in the tiny bit of blending that I actually get to
do, I've often wished for snap-to-midpoint and snap-perpendicular.
snap-to-endpoint is kind of there since you can merge points to the last
inside of a selection, provided you're in edit mode and all points are
in the same object.
