Hi,

There are quite a few handy snap settings in AutoCAD (and ADT).

- Snap to Endpoints (essentially vertices)
- Snap to Intersection
- Snap to Midpoint
- Snap to Perpendicular
- Snap to Centre / Quadrants of a circle
- Snap to Nearest (any point along a line)
- Even more that I can't remember right now.

There are also options like 'OTRACK' which basically means extending
lines to an imaginary intersection and snapping to that point.

Cheers,

Simon
