The best solution IMO (a temporary/ quick increase in spare renders
would be great) would be a full flip-book type interface for rendered
images, toggle flip-book on/off button which expands or contracts the
interface.
options of keeping all rendered "still frame" images in buffer. showing
in chronological order these images, being able to delete certain images
from the book etc....
Further enhancements would be each render being able to store settings
of things like lighting, OSA.... so you could just copy and paste these
settings back into blender, if for example you stuffed something up....
These are of course advanced features, but in the mean time a simple
increase of number of images, and perhaps a good way to show these
images existing is all that is needed.
A flip-book may also tie in well with a f-prime style renderer.
the debate is always between simplicity and options, a simple and to the
point method which looks great, works great and doesn't need a manual is
always better than heaps of features.
