I'm working on reading support right now, so that'll be ready soon.  
After that I don't know if I'll have time to do a thorough review of the 
code; thus far I've modified the ported-over cinepaint cineon/dpx 
library very little.  If I can I'll do more research and try to insure 
that dpx is using the full 16-bits-per-channel.  But I don't know if 
I'll get to that; I'm still getting over this evil cold virus, which is 
making it a little difficult to understand the finer points of what's 
going on in the cinepaint code.  So someone else may need to check if 
dpx is using 16-bits or not (or better yet, email the cinepaint people 
about it.  It is their code, after all :) ).
