[Bf-committers] Status of buttons

Is there a way to change the default status
of buttons the first time blender is started (i.e. before
the file B.blend is loaded)? E.g. I'd like to
add a patch that automatically will set the "Threads" button
according to the status of number of processor in the machine
(or ditto for number of processors into yafray section,
which is by default set to 1, and I'd like it's automatically
set to N, where N is the number of recognized CPUs).
