[Bf-committers] Test Suites for 2.42 Game Engine

Hi,

Charlie and me, and people from Elysiun are still working to improve the 
game engine, step by step.

1) Game Contest with Playstation Portable prize (See 
http://www.blendernation.com/2006/05/23/build-a-cool-blender-physics-game-win-a-psp )
It would be nice to get some coverage during the 2.42 (pre) launch for this 
Game Contest!
Goal is to create new game content, and to fix most urgent bugs.

2) Bullet is replacing Solid (step by step).
- Importing .blend files version 2.41 or older (but newer then 2.25) will 
automatically switch from Sumo to Bullet.
- The user can still switch back to ''Sumo Obsolete' and save it as a 2.42 
file.
- Moving away from Solid also breaks 2.25 files.

3) There is already work done on future plans, like Plugin game engine, 
Collada 1.4 Physics, and replacing the graphics engine part with Ogre3D.

So things are moving, but under construction.
