[Bf-committers] Flashing Interface and Layout Corruption (CVS-20060530)

I'm having some serious problems with the whole interface
flashing. After a while of using it, the interface elements starts to
disappear and the layout gets awfully corrupted. When I move the mouse
the layout flashes in and out. Only thing I can do is restart blender.

Been having this problem for a very long time, using many different
kernels. I'm only using free software DRI drivers. 

I'm on GNU/Linux-2.6.16-rt25, rv280 (ATI 9250)

Any pointers as to what I can try?. Has this issue been reported
before?.
