Campbell is a module owner/maintainer for the python module and thus
can commit to that module without having to provide a patch.
Generally maintainers only need to provide patches if they are doing
work on someone elses module and either the changes are significant,
and/or they haven't gotten the approval of the module maintainer to
make the change.
