iirc also in py code '/' works on also win32 as the directory separation
character, but i am not sure (and have no access to a win box now so cant
test)
python also has a os.sep constant, that is '/' on posix, '\' in win32, and
iirc it was ':' on macos-pre-x (macosx is posix) .. and i guess it is that
other thing on .. whatever that other operating system mentioned here was ..
some blender scripts use os.sep and i tend to use it too
