[Bf-committers] GLX crasher on Linux

I stumbled on a crasher on Linux:  if I create a NURBS circle or curve, 
I get a segfault.  If I first create a NURBS surface, then things are 
OK.  I can then do circle or curve with no problem.

I'm using nVidia drivers 1.0-9631: Stephen Swaney also reproduced with 
1.0-8774 drivers.
