CVS Verse, the release-r5-branch specifically, is what I run. It is where
fixes appear the quickest, too. The HEAD branch is typically only updated
around releases, while development tends to happen on a tagged branch.

Since making binary releases is something of a chore, and something we
(as in "The Uni-Verse project") do rather rarely, it's nice to run CVS
if you can.
