Wintab is the way to go. Tablet PC SDK is for... tablet PCs. GTK+ may be
supporting tablets, but when I start GIMP my cursor goes bonkers when I
try to move it through my tablet... Anyway, I think wintab addition
shouldn't be too hard. Matt already has done most of the work...
