I do not have a lot of time to respond now, but just to say quickly I
managed to get it working with the POSIX only API (it was kindof
embarassing code that I posted so I hope not too many people read it
:$, I should have read the man pages more closely).

I will review all these points and put a new build/patch up soon with
the changes I've made.

Also I've started a wiki page on this as I should have from the start.
