Hello,

 

The FFDSHOW codec allows you to encode in a lot of different formats
including H264. Just activate all codecs in Blender.

However, the quality in still far behind Quicktime's
easy-to-use-for-clean-results H.264.

And I think the bug report concerning QT7 and its H.264 is still open, even
though I haven't checked lately.
