Is there currently any way to control the time of the last
modification on an object? For example: imagine i have something like
a normalmap generated from a pair of meshes. At a given point i want
to know if i have to update it or i can reuse the current one. Do the
objects have a "timestamp" or something similar?
P.S. I'm working at a C/C++ level, not python.
