no. i don't agree if you mean all the scripts. but if you mean editing 
properties, i guess so.

e.g. modelling tools benefit from drawing arbitrary elements in the 3d view, 
like when the user launches e.g. a mesh tool, which works so that the user 
can move the mouse around
