[Bf-committers] problems with C++

Thanks - as far as I can see it's compiled correctly, but MSVC seems to
be unsure about those templated functions. All those warning whenever a
constant without _f (like 1.0) is used as float are correct, but a but
annoying :)

Jonathan - thanks for the examples, that might work for the solver class
as well... I'll give it a try.
