[Bf-committers] Unborn particles not shaded

It has come to my attention through testing the new particles that 
attempting to set a system's halo material to "Shaded" only works on 
particles which have been born. The unborn particles aren't shaded. Bug? 
Feature? Didn't want to post in the tracker because the feature is a WIP 
in the immediate short term..
