[Bf-committers] Meeting Summary Sunday May 15th

Thanks to Levon Hudson for doing the meeting minutes.  Ton was unable
to attend this weeks meeting.

1)Python API
-------Joilnen's timeline API will be discussed with Matt and Ton once
the time line is finished. Joilnen will submit a patch to the tracker
in the near future.
-------Martin has some MathUtils patches, will submit them shortly.

2)Scripts
-------Tom M will write a Scripting Hints page on the script wiki with
the possible inclusion of a template for script's markup docs.
-------BPY team will evaluate submitted scripts for possible inclusion
in 2.37 release.

3) Yafray
-------Alfredo requires a few more days to get all the updates and new
features finished, will be ready by next Sunday (22nd)

4) User pref defaults
-------Possible changes to the default B.blend were discussed
including non controversial changes such as Manipulator on by default
and changing the background color to a neutral color, to more
controversial items such as default OSA (if any), default oct tree
setting, and changing default render resolution.  Some useful defaults
were overlooked and will be brought up at next meeting.

It was suggested that even for those defaults that are not changed
that a quick start guide to blender should mention how to change the
settings.

5) soft bodies UI
-------Jason had suggestions for changing the naming conventions for
the softbodies buttons.  He will submit his proposal to bf-committers
for further consideration
