Hi,

The "multiple screen" support issue just is more complex. First thing  
we have to work on is getting it fully supported and in control in the  
low level Ghost library.
One method is to treat "multiple screens" as one large desktop. That  
seems to work so-so right now. Another method is with using multiple  
graphics cards, which will each create an own desktop (I think? It  
doesn't work for blender right now). In that case Blender should open  
an individual window on each desktop yes.

You can find notes on this in the 2.3 UI design docs, blender3d.org ->  
infocenter -> development!
