They are bezier kind, IIRC, so they will do that. Have you tried
editing the handle types? HKEY, Shift+H and VKEY.

You can choose Linear and Constant too. Press TKEY then use mouse or a
number (or navigate via the menus, if you want to use mouse only). But
I guess Bezier and the use of the correct handle type for each point
would be better, things require acceleration in many cases.
