Well, it has a function....and it looks like it is MEANT to work...
I know nothing about curves tho, so I can't fix it. it's not a lot
of code, imho not worth ripping the menu out again, rather just fix
it soon. Looks like it has been broken/not implemented for some time.

I'm just guessing because I'm lazy and haven't looked at the code but...
I'm guessing it was never implemented its just a byproduct of how
joining curves was implemented.  In which case I would say it shouldn't
be in the menu until its actually implemented.
