Thx all for the understanding all.
I'd be glad to get together phase during IRC and see if we can come up a
static lib for freetype.
I'll also remove the freetype source from extern/ (and update the
/extern build for the project files).

No reason to feel awful. :)
Just means it's important to reconfirm purpose of CVS directories:
extern/: non-blender libs, externally developed, with changes in it for
Blender
intern/: blender libs, in own development
lib/: precompiled external libraries + headerfiles
What goes in extern/ and lib/ always is something we communicate on
before. Typically platform managers have something to say about that.
For intern/ the purpose was to move as much possible in here, out of
the blender/ tree.
So; just remove the freetype sources, and let's stick to precompiled
versions in lib!
