[Bf-committers] Parents in seperate scenes?

Hi, its possible to make have a parent on another scene.. Is this intended?
Kinda cool though Im not sure why youd use it.

TO do it all you need to do is
Select an Ob with a parent
Ctrl+L > To Scene ... some other scene.

Now go into the other Scene and the object still has the ob in the other 
scene as a parent.


Select it and Try the menu Item - Select > Group > Parent...
Crash.

This isnt necessarly a bug report- just wondering if this is intended.
