[Bf-committers] Windows Compile Q's

A few questions that I thought I'd ask about:

1) Is there any reason we can't commit the freetype2 source to
blender/extern?  Reason being that VC7 throws a number of linker warning
'cause freetype2ST.lib was compiled on VC6. Since the source is
available.....

2) Is there are reason that have the VC6/7 project files in the /intern
directory? This seems strange considering we have dedicated folders for
them.
