It would help if you added a picture to the mail.. is it still this:

I can't really say I'm proud of the current icons for widgets, but this
doesn't look to me as a real improvement. Each icon has different
'language' and style (like rotate has 'motion', the translate has a
round center, scale has square center?)

Yah, we need something like this in a menu, it could be much smaller
though.

Rotate widget currently has no center... someone else suggested to make
'click widget without moving mouse' doing same as pressing G/R/S
hotkeys, moving around without need to hold down mouse.
Needs some experimenting.

There are 400+ (or so) subscribers to this list, better not send each
of them huge mails... patches can also be put in our patch tracker if
you don't have the webspace.
