Hi,

Yah, the Sis cards are a common sorrow with Blender.
On our gfx card faq (blender3d.org) are hints what a user can evaluate  
and tweak. Best quesses always is changing color depth of framebuffer  
(16, 24 or 32 bits) and lower 'accelleration speed' even when thats to  
zero.
