As curiosity, I used to use until quite recently an even more different
keyboard DAS : http://www.students.tut.fi/~seres/DAS_en.html
Just to be able to work well with Blender I just switched back to the
awful qwerty layout. (Finnish qwerty, where right to my pkey is the åkey,
and below the pkey is the ökey with the äkey next to it). There's many
more differences, but lefthand part is quite similar to qwerty layout. And
then we mustn't forget the poor french, who do have azerty layout. Etc.

There is more to the world then qwerty, which was invented to slow down
typerates.
