[Bf-committers] circle select problems

Since yesterday I have access to a laptop with a Intel 830 vid card,
running  lunix. This also showed mentioned trail-corruption problems. I
get rid of those by forcing X to use the software cursor.

So, for those on windows I'd suggest to try to disable hardware
acceleration and try again, and for lunix users use Option   "SW Cursor"
for your vidcard settings in XF86Config or xorg.conf
