Yep.  It only happens with a) lots of verts, and b) backbuffered 
(z-buffered) selection mode is enabled.

Tried adding allqueue(REDRAWVIEW3D, 1) (may not be exact spelling, 
cut-n-pasted from space.c) to a few backbuffer circle select functions, 
but didn't help any.
