[Bf-committers] Mesh surface and volume calculation

Hi,
Campbell Barton tried to add some statistic for mesh too (length of 
edges, volume of faces). He sent some patch to this mailing list. 
Contact him! btw: I prefer some panel in 3d view for this info 
(something like "View Properties", "Background Image" or "Trnasform 
Properties").
