[Bf-committers] Release status; cvs freeze?

Hi all,
As discussed we're about to move to cvs freeze status, and start
building testing versions for verifying a final release. Work on coding
projects themselves is nearly finished, with (afaik) only pending work
related to;
- global undo (finetuning details, adding undo push calls)
- checking bundled python scripts & documenting them
- showstopper bugs in game engine
Apart from that, the bug tracker still has a nice list of pending work
as well. Hopefully everyone here has time to check on the assigned
bugs... and where possible communicate whether this is a showstopper or
something for later to solve. :)
During the next sunday meeting (yes, meeting notes will be emailed to
the list again) we'll look at the current stats. For those who cannot
attend (Kester, Kent, Chris?) please mail what your advise is on a
release.
I'm also not 100% sure what the status is of the changes I've coded in
the drawing of pulldown menus. Sofar, only Martin Poirier has reported
severe slowdowns on his laptop... anyone else?
