As the initiator of this, I must also say that I most definitely did not mean to
point the finger at any one person - I haven't had anything I've done committed
to the Blender codebase, so I am hardly in a position to stifle any
contribution!

... As a positive comment, the current (CVS) version of Blender is soooooo much
better now that I can use my ATI graphics card - I'm actually getting some
serious creativity going :) Great, great work guys!
