Hi Alex,

Many thanks for the feedback: I'll be spending some time on this
tomorrow, and I may well ask for help with implementation! Don't
worry, this is a good way of learning coding for me, so I certainly
won't ignore anything!

I also have some things to work on regarding the particle leaking
issue (thanks to all on IRC!), so hopefully I'll have a new patch /
binary tomorrow.

In the meantime, all thoughts welcome!
