Hi,

After a quick review of tracker, and reactions we get by mail and  
people on IRC... I'd like to get the following decision approved:

Officially we'll limit UI translation to tooltips only. Templates for  
this can be easily extracted and maintained. For more elaborate UI  
translation the Blender buttons naming conventions and the UI code  
itself isn't suitable. Fixing the latter will be a lot of work, and is  
not scheduled to work for 2.3x releases.
