Argh!  You're totally right, of course.  While doing that I completely forgot
about (specially) the file selectors.  I will fix the problems (can make the
file selector always move to the biggest area, of course).  About vertical
buttons win, it's probably better to let scripts evolve to having a small button
in their gui to switch between horizontal and vertical alignment.
