Hi,
I found the problem!

1.) Since yesterday morning blender does not have a splash screen
anymore. User settings were not alerted in this point but saved for
other changes.
This is because of a patch for python demo scripts in creator.c by =
Willian
Padovani Germano.
This patch is also responsible for the problem I described earlier in =
this
mail.
Changing line 260 in creator.c:
onload_script =3D 1; /* scenescript always set! */
To:
onload_script =3D 0;
brings back the splash screen again, and also solves my problem.
So I think Willian should take a look at his code to come up with a =
proper
solution.

Hi again,
It only happens with some examples from the 225_game_demos, like
webhaloparty.blend, halofun.blend and ballercoaster.blend.
Could it be that those files have some kind of flag set that makes them =
auto
start?
Leaves the question why the scons build behaves different from the =
project
files build.
Anyone have a clue?

Hi,
When I build blender using the MSVC6 compiler with project files, then =
when
I load a game it starts playing immediately, and when pressing escape
blender quits.
It is just as if it behaves like the game player.
When I build blender using scons with the .net2003 compiler everything =
works
fine.
Somehow something is wrong with the MSVC6 project files.
Anyone having the same experience with the MSVC6 project files?
Regards,
Peter den Bak
