Hi, have been blending all day and thaught of a new rot/scale/pivot mode
that would be usefull.
Could be called -*Centre Only 3d Cursor *and *Centre Only Median Point***
This would only be available in object mode,
it would work by rotating/scaling the object the same as in 3d curser
mode but The objects Scale and rotation would not change.
This could be used to align a heap of different objects allong an axis
ysing the scale tool (without making them flat)
- Doubles as an object alignment tool! *Centre Only + Scale = Object
align tool.*
* Changing the pitch of a staircase with the rotate tool without
changing the angle of the stairs themselves.
* Modifying the spacing of a staircase without the scale of the stairs.
* Basicly- Many functions where you might use dupliverts or vert parents
but it dosent require the user to set up dupliverts/vert-parents while
still having there advantages.
Has advantages over dupliverts which can only use 1 object data and
repeate it, this would simply work with the current selection.
Im interested in what you guys think as well as weather this feature
(bug free etc) would be accepted into BF-Blender
