I've been invited by Remi Arnaud (Sony) - of SGI and Intrinsic fame -  
to look at adding this to to our importers/exporters. This is still an  
early discussion, the format was officially released last week.

With Sony/Alias/Discreet/Softimage and big game studios supporting it,  
it wouldn't be a bad thing to look at for Blender. In which way Sony  
would/could support the efforts is still in discussion though... :)
