Hi Brecht,

Shesis, so much in one commit! :)
I can imagine you couldn't separate the commit per feature anymore...  
but this amount of new functionality would require a bit more (cvs log)  
information to be useful for release notes.

Would you mind thinking of creating a webpage for this, like  
DetectiveThorn did for the displacement mapping? I can give you account  
in our CMS.
