Just a note regarding terminology, Goofster's new selection stuff should
consistently be called "Face Loop Select", not just "Loop Select". There is
quite a difference between edge loops and face loops, which should be
clarified. Dunno how the cutting naming fits into all of this...

Another less important suggestion is, how about using 'midpoint' or 'edge
midpoint' for the knife stuff instead of 'center'  - center is often used
throughout Blender to mean the object center - this could be a possible
point of confusion, particularly when it appears before the tool is started
and newbies aren't exactly sure what to expect of it.
