Hi all,

To my schock I find out it's already in 4 days! :)
Based at art & movie contrinutions, we (Bart, Willem, me) have choosen
the nominees for 'best art' and 'best animation' last week. My plan was
to use the projects.blender.org rating system to do it for coders
(prize 'best code contribution'). This rating system is broken though...

So I have to do it more primitive. Just email me (personal at
ton@blender.org) a name of coder you like to see rewarded, and mention
for what coding work specifically. Based at reactions I get in, I then
can choose the top 5 nominees, which will be voted for by conference
participants.

Please don't nominate yourself, nor me! :)
Contributions that are not released yet are OK to mention as well btw.
At my list already is:

- Robert Wenzlaff
Knife cutting tool, improvements in renderer
- Alexander Ewering
   Audio in sequencer, Mesh Undo
- Roel Spruit
   Edge selection, loop selection
- Willian, Michel, Guignot
New Python API (if this is a real team effort, we can also nominate
them as three)
- Rob Haarsma
Mousewheel support, Quicktime/Avi Codecs video support
- Matt Ebb
   new pulldown menus, buttons, icons
- Jiri Hnidek
   Improved MetaBall modeling
- Martin Poirier
Transform options (numerical input, constraints) and Constraint editor
- Chris Want
work on Armatures, relative vertex key sliders
- Upi Tamminen (desaster)
For creating & maintaining the Tuhopuu tree

I bet I forgot some.... Please only mention your nominee, that's a vote
I can count. Also point me to coding work I should add to a person's
name...
