More tooltips would be great!

Apple have some good guidelines for writing tooltips (they call them 'help
tags') here:
http://developer.apple.com/techpubs/macosx/Essentials/AquaHIGuidelines/AHIGHelp/chapter_14_section_6.html

It's also good to be consistent eg.
"Creates a new mesh object"    or    "Create a new mesh object"
-> I'd try and stick to one style of grammar and use that throughout
