Hi all,

Firstly, I wanted to tip my hat to the bright spark who thought up
emulation of the num pad with the number keys. THANK YOU. You've just
made blender a thousand times more usable on my laptop.

On international font slowdowns: I think it's the antialiasing (I hope
this hasn't already been mentioned), which, incidentally, also does
strange things to the look of the menus under OSX (I'd send a
screenshot, but I don't have the capability at the moment).

I was wondering: is there a way to disable the font antialiasing?
Could it be a preference in the userpref buttons under System?

Another user preference would be the "maximize window" feature on OSX;
that way users whose hardware and screen res support it can run blender
full-screen by hitting Control-U after setting things up, while others
can run at the res they prefer.
