Hi all,

The latest CVS download (I updated yesterday) had that ranlib problem
with libode -- it tells you to run ranlib on libode.a, but when you do
it rebuilds the library.  I got Blender building by removing extern
from the subdirs, but shouldn't ranlib be run on libode.a by the
makefile in the directory above it before it gets copied to
[wherever]/bf-blender/lib/[system]/etc ?

(This is on OS X by the way.  I've yet to try the latest source tree
under Red Hat.)
