[Bf-committers] Problems with Linux 2.28?

Just FYI - I don't use Linux here so I can't really shed any light on it,
but shortly after release, I've found quite a few linux users having
dependency problems.

2 people in #blenderchat have had problems where blender has been looking
for 'smpeg' on startup, couldn't find it, and refused to start and there is
another person here on elysiun.com (
http://www.elysiun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=118324#118324 ) having problems
with Blender looking for 'libvorbisfile'. Perhaps an SDL related thing?

Thought I'd let the Linux devs know.

On a slightly related topic, will the Linux PPC, FreeBSD and Solaris builds
be ready any time soon? When they are built, can someone please let me know,
so I can update the Download page.
