I think this is on the right track, I like it, just like your "themes"
for Blender.  Good idea to separate the buttons.  Those who have tried
Blender and considered it "unusable" might start changing their minds if
something like what you propose is done.

Guess I'm a fan of your UI work, madprof : ).
