Subject: [Bf-committers] openssl et al locations...

ok in the old blender release i resorted to placing all the openssl,
libpng etc... .h, .a, and .lib files in the default
blender/lib/irix-6.5-mips locations as each compilation failed on it.

with this new system, i assume configure/autoconf should somehow
magically find the locations of the extra packages and do something
that makes the old nan_definitions.mk file obsolete... when looking
at the compilation commandline there is no indication that a specific
external path is being used so.. i don't know where to go here.

Since i don't have a GNU system, where must i install these packages
for it to find them? how do i tell configure where these are?

i have an irix specific compiler directive too add (but it's at work
in the keyboard buffer :)
