I did some experimentation with Ruby FFI bindings and bindata, but it's not terribly useful at this point either:

In the past few months I've been getting interested in ZeroMQ, to see if it could be used for an implementation of the core Verse lib, with something like Fudge for message serialization.

I also have a wiki page full of notes and outlines for a blog post to increase Google visibility on Verse, but work and lack of showable code have been dampening my spirits.
