Croquet is a community based project. You can contribute what you  
want. If its useful for the majority, it will be included in the main  
distribution, if not you
can distribute it in other ways (squeaksource etc)

There are two ways to integrate external code. FFI and VM Plugin. I  
have no experience in both. The croquet developers I talked with  
pushed me to use VM plugin.

The plugin and surrounding software should provide these capabilities

* connect to a verse server
* "download" geometry and color data
* build up the model using this data

Later on we could share such brand new things like skeletal animation  
data. But for now it should be enough.

What I can do is the following

* Smalltalk programming
* Testing on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X
* Bug reports
* Documentation
* Answer smalltalk related questions
